Cologne, Germany, September 7, 2021 – Cologne-based cloud technology and service provider gridscale wins Platinum at the Readers’ Choice Service Provider Awards 2021 in the category “Kubernetes”.
Presented at the Service Provider Summit 2021 on the 1st and 2nd of September, the award honours the Vogel IT-Medien Readers’ chosen winners.
“We are very excited about the award because it proves that our approach to providing Kubernetes users with a user-friendly, intuitive interface resonates,” said Manuel Jenne, CTO at gridscale, who accepted the award from Vogel IT-Medien CEO Werner Nieberle. “We help companies not only save time and nerves but focus on what they actually do best. That’s exactly where our managed services come in. Why train your own employees in the management of Kubernetes at length when they can simply and safely leave that to gridscale?”
Since early 2020, gridscale has been providing its public cloud customers with a ready-to-run and fully managed Kubernetes environment. This allows developers to focus on application development entirely. Features include an always-updated Kubernetes version, automatic cluster updates, and easy setup of containers via the gridscale cloud panel. With Managed Kubernetes, gridscale unburdens companies of time-consuming routine tasks while giving them every degree of freedom to implement new IT paradigms from Infrastructure-as-Code to Continuous Delivery.
The Service Provider Award is presented annually by the Vogel IT Academy as part of the Service Provider Summit in eleven categories ranging from hosting to managed security. Last week, this year’s Summit took place in Frankfurt am Main.
