German cloud provider gridscale is acquired by OVHcloud
Cologne, August 4th 2023 – German cloud provider gridscale today announced its full acquisition by OVHcloud, the European cloud leader. All founding members of gridscale GmbH and the entire workforce will be taken over.
The company gridscale, founded in Cologne in 2014, is a software provider specializing in cloud technologies and hyperconverged infrastructures. For gridscale, the merger is an important strategic milestone on the way to becoming a global multi-cloud provider.
Subject to any approvals, the transaction is expected to close in early September.
