Acronis’ Backup-as-a-Service Solution is now Available in gridscale Marketplace
Cologne, 28 June 2023 – gridscale, cloud technology provider from Cologne, Germany, is expanding its SaaS Marketplace now also making the full backup-as-a-service function of the Cyber Protect solution from Acronis available to its customers. The Swiss company Acronis is one of the world’s leading providers of data security software. gridscale customers can now access the data protection functions in the Marketplace and thus benefit from a quality-tested and data protection-compliant SaaS solution for securing their company data. The Acronis software suite is operated on the gridscale cloud infrastructure in the high-security data center in Frankfurt.
Acronis’ Backup-as-a-Service allows users to reliably back up data in a private, public or hybrid cloud scenario without having to maintain their own IT infrastructure or hardware. Data protection prevents data from being lost due to disruptions such as technical defects, hardware failures or cyber attacks. In doing so, the Acronis Cyber Protect product combines comprehensive backup capabilities with advanced anti-ransomware technologies enabling data protection across physical, virtual, cloud and mobile device-based environments.
