We fixed a problem which prevented users from logging in via SAML, who have access to both the Partner Panel and individual accounts.

The search function was not working in the lists of Virtual Switches and Breakouts in the account detail view.

Accounts in the inactive state now correctly indicate that above the account name.

The function to mark an account as favorite didn't work as intended when triggered from the User detail view.

If you create a new SDN Virtual Switch from a Breakout detail view, the Virtual Switch and Breakout are now immediately connected.

The Magic Link feature now also works for Users who only have access to the Partner Panel. Before, it only worked for Users who have access to at least one account.

The list for assigning accounts to a user did show all accounts, regardless of whether they were already assigned to the user or not. This could lead to errors, when trying to assign an already assigned account.

Fixed:

The RSS and Atom feeds for status.gridscale.io were missing the time window, e.g. in case of a maintenance announcement. This was due to a problem at the provider we use for the status page and has now been fixed.

New:

The Designer now allows to configure a specific Dark Mode Color to adjust the newly released Dark Mode to your brand identity. The option to switch the Panel to Dark Mode is available in the Partner Panel settings already and will be released to the Cloud Panel settings as well in calendar-week 4.

Fixed:

In the Designer you could assign the same colors to fore- and background elements, making them invisible. This is no longer possible.

Access keys for the Object Storage were displayed to long in the tile view, running over the tile edge.

When deleting a backup, the panel would show a wrong error message in case the storage from which the backup was taken doesn't exist anymore. This will no longer happen.

For the connection to a public network in the server detail view, the Mac address of the interface was not shown. Also the public IP addresses are displayed there now.

The link for downloading invoices from the Account Detail view was broken. We repaired it, so that you don't have to remove the extra slash manually yourself.

Instead of direct mailto: links on several places in the panels, there is now an additional dialog allowing to copy the email address to the clipboard and optionally open the local email client. This should make copying easier and allow opening the email client in cases where mailto: doesn't work.

When shutting down a server via ACPI signal from the panel, the status on the server's tile will now be refreshed automatically when the server is switched off.

When changing your password, it was possible to bypass the safety measure of having to enter the new password a second time. This is now no longer possible, so that you get a proper warning when accidentally mistyping your new password.

We added an extra overlay to offer the user the possibility to create a first object (virtual switch, breakout, account) in case the relate overlay would show up empty.

Improved:

Hotspots in the partner panel were displayed per device and not per user. This has been changed so that when a user logs in with another device, the confirmed hotspots are no longer displayed.

It's no longer possible to disable all locations, to avoid somebody from accidentally disabling all functionality for users.

When trying to enter too many characters into an input field, your're now warned by the Partner Panel frontend. This will help avoid running into Request Error messages.

The drag'n'drop functionality in the Price Calculator was repaired. In addition we made some small cosmetic changes to it.

We've removed some hotspots that kept unintentionally popping up, even after being hidden by the users.

For a smoother workflow, when networks are created inside the process of creating a gridSQL or gridStore instance, DHCP is enabled by default and the newly created network is pre-selected in the network dropdown of the instance creation dialog.

We've reworked the tooltips in our panels to improve the readability.

In the template overview page, you can now directly create a storage from a selected template.

For some delete actions (which we consider less critical) you'll now see a simple "Do you really want to delete this?" pop-up, instead of the "Enter the object name to confirm deletion" dialog.

Fixed:

When a backup schedule was deleted, but there were still existing backups created by this deleted schedule, the related backup location was not displayed.

The drop down for selecting an SSH key in the Storage Create overlay was broken for a short while, but got quickly fixed.

We've discontinued MariaDB 10.3 from our PaaS catalog, because this version has reached its EOL. This means no new PaaS instances can be started with this version. Already existing instances will not be affected, but we recommend replacing them.

Fixed:

When updating a cluster from one GSK version to the next (e.g. 1.26 to 1.27), the StorageClass was deleted by a bug in the updater. This was fixed for all GSK versions. While building the fix, updates were temporarily made unavailable.

All affected users received a notification through the Cloud Panel notification center.

Our Marketplace received two freshly updated templates for Plesk and Wordpress, both containing up-to-date versions of all included components (Ubuntu, PHP, Apache, MariaDB).

CAS – during task execution, if the event-key wasn’t available the task would not execute, now it ignores this and will send incomplete data – so you can pick up from there.

A wire was crossed in the CAS validation for tasks regarding adding IP Addresses to a server – stopping these tasks from being fired.
