May we introduce? Nicola Römer – our new CMO

gridscale has a new team member! We are happy to welcome Nicola Römer as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in our team. In close cooperation with the founders she will contribute to raise the international awareness of our company. We are looking forward to the cooperation!

Nicola has not only completed her M.B.A. at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management successfully, but she also brings in a broad know-how and experience across all important business areas. Before joining our gridscale team as CMO, Nicola was founder and CEO of her own company – the “Kölner Schatztüte” (Cologne treasure bag). The idea around this innovative concept was to combines local and lovingly chosen products of traditional companies with a modern online and offline marketing concept.

Nicola started her career in 2003 in the course of an international graduate program as project manager at IBM Germany, where she has mainly been in charge of IT projects with the German Federal Forces. After a long-time stay abroad, Nicola moved to the State Street Bank, where she did not only work in Global Relationship Management, but also established and led a strategic and customer-oriented research center as European Director.

All in all the whole team agrees: Nicola is definitely a good catch. During her previous positions she has proved her organizational and leadership skills on an international level. Particularly in view of our further growth strategy, we consider Nicola a perfect addition for our innovative company.
